A big part of ABA therapy is parent and caregiver training, provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This doesn’t mean that your BCBA is training you to be a parent - you’re the expert there! This is meant to help train you on the principles of ABA, strategies and interventions that we are using with your child, and reviewing data and important goals. Parent/Caregiver training is centered around your and your family’s needs, and may even include community outings! We can also collaborate with teachers and other therapist through parent/caregiver training.
